The Inclusion team’s goal is to create inclusive learning environments at LBIS where every student has the opportunity to realise their academic potential.
We support students who have been identified as having medical challenges and/or learning needs, students who are in the early stages of acquiring English as an additional language, and students who have transferred to LBIS from another country. We collaborate with students, their families, and their teachers to create individual learning plans (ILPs), to provide instructional support, to develop organisational and study skills, and to ensure that students receive inclusive access arrangements that help them access the curriculum. We strive to make sure that every student has the opportunity to perform to the best of their potential.
