Student Life @ Le Bocage

The main objectives of this committee are to improve the overall (out-of-class) experiences of each LBIS student, which ranges from dealing with bullying, access to prefect/teacher support, improving certain school facilities, as well as organising dress up days and other miscellaneous events such as valentines day.

They are in charge of organising assemblies, whole-school competitions related to festivals, as well as coodinating with other committees for sporting/other events. So far, their main projects have been the Diwali and Chinese New Year assemblies.

They work on contacting external personnel, including suppliers for equipment, food and clothing, performers for events, and other things the prefect body needs to purchase/use. they always come in clutch for assemblies and other events.

This committee works towards organising education-related events and affairs. some prominent examples include the upcoming innovation fair, spirit day quizzes, etc.

Their main goals are helping the Physical Education department organise sporting events such as cross country, sports day, swimming gala, etc, and they were also the main team behind our amazing spirit day this year. also, they are involved in the organisation of interclass competitions.

They monitor all cash inflows and outflows before, during, and after every fund-raising event (to make sure we’re not losing money for prom and our f7 hoodies). they’re also the people who work with the finance department at school, and with the heads to secure funding.

This committee is made up of the head boy/girl, as well as the deputies. They are the leaders of the whole prefect body: they aim to initiate projects within each committee, and they coordinate with each committee via their respective heads for updates on their projects. They also communicate any concerns or ideas that they may have to the administrative heads as well as our form coordinator.
