CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service)

CAS is at the heart of the IB Diploma Programme. It encourages students to grow as individuals through creative pursuits, physical activity, and meaningful service. At our school, CAS supports holistic development and is a vital part of how we prepare students to become balanced, reflective, and engaged global citizens.

Service Learning

Service Learning is embedded in every programme at our school. It connects classroom learning with real-world action, allowing students to respond to community needs in thoughtful and impactful ways. Through this process, students develop empathy, leadership, and a deeper understanding of their role in society. We are shaping the future generation at Le Bocage International School.

    Form 1

Hi! I’m Mrs Neezmah, your Service Learning Advisor. I teach Science and Physics and bring a curious and analytical mindset to everything we do. I love connecting classroom learning to the real world, just as I enjoy reading, exploring nature, and discovering new countries to gain fresh perspectives. I can’t wait to start exploring impactful service projects with you.

    Form 2

I’m Sarah Albert, the Service Learning Advisor for Form Two 2026. I believe that giving students a strong foundation in community service will enable them to succeed with their future projects. Although the first project can be daunting, anything is achievable and seeing the initial work evolve is both rewarding and inspiring! I am available to help guide students through the process, from the initial planning stages through to uploading evidence and how to write a good reflection; they only need to reach out!! I am in my office (F3) every Friday during break.

    SL Learning Advisor

    Form 3

I’m Reshma Dookarran, the Service Learning Advisor for Form 3 2026. Service learning is an integral part of learning at LBIS and IB. We all, adults carry out service learning in some way or the other without realising that it is actually service learning. From recycling to donating till helping the environment or the unfortunate ones, we all have been there! NOW,it’s time to inculcate it to our younger ones. My aim is truly supporting my younger form 2 fellows who have keen interest in completing service learning. In this way, I am being part of their journey culminating in IBDP final years compulsory CAS. I am available via email as well as in Room E1 on Wednesdays Week B to answer any of the students’ queries

    Form 4

I’m Danisha Ramdyal, the Service Learning Advisor for Form 4 2026. This year is a crucial stepping stone as students transition from exploring service learning to taking greater ownership of their own projects. My goal is to help them develop independence, creativity, and empathy through meaningful action. I believe service is not just about helping, but understanding how we can make sustainable change in our communities. Students are welcome to reach out to me anytime for guidance; from brainstorming ideas to uploading evidence and structuring reflections. You will find me in the Phase 3 staffroom!

    Form 5

I’m Eloïse Forget, the Service Learning Advisor for Form 5, 2026. If I could go back in time and be a student in a school that did service learning… I totally would! Service learning is not just about ticking a box or doing “something nice” for the community. It’s about shaping who we are and becoming more compassionate humans. This year is particularly special for me because I’ve been following my wonderful Form 4 cohort since last year, and I’ve seen them grow, stumble, learn, and rise again. I genuinely enjoy walking alongside them through every stage of their projects. My door is always open. Literally. Students can find me in my office or spot me every morning during registration. Send me a message anytime, stop by, ask a question. I’m always available.

    Form 6/7

I’m Claudia Farla, the CAS and Service Learning Coordinator at LBIS. I am mainly in charge of the Form 6 and Form 7. I absolutely love my role because it gives me the opportunity to connect with students beyond the classroom and discover the inspiring, creative, and meaningful projects they take on. Whether they’re learning a new skill, planning an initiative, or helping their community, I feel privileged to guide and support them on their CAS and SL journey.
