LBIS is centrally located on the slopes of Mount Ory, and just off the motorway between Plaines Wilhems and the capital, Port Louis. The campus has a panoramic view of the mountains and plains leading down to the Indian Ocean.
There are more than fourty teaching rooms, including four fully equipped science laboratories, three computer rooms, two art studios, three Design & Technology rooms, a home economics laboratory and a large purpose-built library. 2015 saw the completion of a new Performing Arts and Language Lab Block, housing a state-of-the-art Language Lab, music room, theatre and recording studio.
There are playing fields, housing four football fields, and outdoor hard court surfaces. The multi-purpose sports hall houses multiple badminton, table tennis and basketball courts. It also serves as an auditorium for the many special events held each year. The school also has a small canteen and dining facility.
